Fall brings a magical experience to Costa Rica's northwestern coast, as the sea turtles return to Camaronal Beach in a 110-million-year tradition. Just minutes away, the renowned eco-resort Hotel Punta Islita offers its guests a special Turtle Time package celebrating this phenomenon. Available September 1 through October 31, the package includes an expedition to observe the sea turtles -- Leatherbacks, Olive Ridleys and Hawksbills -- in their annual nesting ritual.

Guests enjoy accommodations in a deluxe room or villa, a choice of continental or traditional Costa Rican breakfast, a welcome cocktail, and one cultural tour per party. Rates start at US$89 per person, per night, with a two-night minimum required.
