Lucerne Festival Summer 2009: The Nature of Music

August means the return of the Lucerne Festival Summer, bringing to this charming Swiss city more than a month of world-class performances by the Lucerne Festival Orchestra and legendary international musicans – from Pierre Boulez to Zubin Mehta. From August 12 through September 19, Lucerne’s famed concert hall and venues throughout the city will be filled with the strains of music celebrating Nature, this year’s festival theme.
