St. Moritz Ski Opening Specials at the Kulm Hotel
Switzerland's historic Kulm Hotel celebrates the opening of the St. Moritz ski season with two special packages ideal for a last-minute December getaway. Each includes a three-night stay, daily breakfast and a six-course gourmet dinner each evening. In addition, Ski Break offers a two-day regional ski pass, hotel transfers, and a regenerating sea salt bath. Rates start at €637. Mountains and Spa pampers guests with an Alpine herb brush massage, Alpine herb bath and a mountain honey and milk massage, and starts at €677. Both packages are valid December 4-19, Sundays through Fridays.
As the world readies for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, The Kulm, which originally opened in 1856, can draw on its own historical association with the Winter Games. Dubbed the “cradle of winter sports,” The Kulm played host to the Olympic games of 1928 and 1948 and was the first to promote St Moritz as a winter destination, back in the late 19th century.
