Zermatt's Hotel Nicoletta to Become Le Petit Cervin
On April 15, the Hotel Nicoletta in the Swiss ski resort town of Zermatt will close its doors for a transformation. Reopening for the winter season as Le Petit Cervin, it will be managed by the Seiler Group as one entity with its sister hotel, the Mont Cervin Palace.
During its transformation, the Nicoletta will be completely renovated to the standards of the five-star Mont Cervin Palace. Several existing rooms will be combined into one- and two-bedroom suites, including two Royal Suites with open fireplaces. South-facing accommodations will offer a full view of the legendary Matterhorn, while those facing north will overlook the Mischabel group of mountains. All suites and several rooms will offer balconies and terraces with mountain views.
Le Petit Cervin will be elegantly furnished in warm colors with wood paneling and cozy, fabric-covered walls. Technology will be state-of-the-art, from communications to entertainment. There will also be a comfortable breakfast lounge, lobby and Piano Bar on the fourth floor, a ground-floor reception area, separate fitness room and gym, ski room, and a party cellar.
An underground passage will connect guests staying at Le Petit Cervin to the amenities at Mont Cervin Palace, including fine dining, a spectacular indoor pool and the Daniela Steiner Beauty Spa.
