Ballenberg Open-air Museum

The Ballenberg Open-Air Museum is renowned for its unique "collection" of rural buildings and exhibits dating back over the past centuries. In 2008 it is also the scenic setting for a theatrical production based on the Austrian film "Die Siebtelbauern" (The Inheritors), released in 1998 and described by author Stefan Ruzowitzky as "a kind of Alpine Western". The play will be performed in Swiss-German dialect.
