Option 2: To the castles of King Ludwig II (approximately 6 - 7 hours)
We start this tour with a visit to the picturesque Wieskirche -- the well-known jewel of Rococo, the “Pilgrimage Church of the Scourged Saviour”. After a pleasant walk through the beautiful area around the church, you will continue to Füssen with lunch between the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The latter-named castle was built from 1832 to 1836 by crown prince Maximilian of Bavaria. King Ludwig II spent his childhood within these historical walls. Now it is waiting to be discovered by you. From the famous castle of Neuschwanstein, you will enjoy a great view of the scenic landscape.

Option 3: Oberammergau, Ettal and the Castle Linderhof (approximately 5-6 hours)
With this trip you will visit some of the famous sights of Upper Bavaria. You start at Oberammergau, where the world-famous Passion Play takes place every decade (next in 2010). This marvellous town offers a unique mixture of Bavarian culture and tradition, like the large number of “Lüftmalereien” (house wall paintings). An English-speaking guide will guide you along these important and interesting sights. You will then be driven to the monastery of Ettal, where you can visit the famous baroque church. As for your souvenir, we recommend visiting the shop of the monastery, with its large number of home-made products like the well-known Ettaler liqueur. For the final leg of this journey, you will visit the Castle Linderhof, with an English-speaking guided tour through the surroundings of King Ludwig II. Stroll through the majestic park, which was built to recreate the gardens of Versailles.

Option 4: Shopping or sightseeing tour to Munich (approximately 6 hours)
Your guide will pick you up to leave for Munich -- you may choose between shopping or a sightseeing tour through the Bavarian capital. A great number of new impressions can be gained about the Bavarian capital by going on a tour through the old part of Munich. The visits of the residence, “Frauenkirche”, “Michaels-“ and “Asamkirche” will bring you through the different Bavarian architecture and cultures. The centre of Munich invites you to go for a long shopping tour, where you will find presents and souvenirs of all sizes. Of course, you cannot miss a lunch at a typical Bavarian restaurant, like “Spatenhaus”, “Hofbräuhaus”, “Augustiner” or, with sunny warm weather, a lunch at a traditional beer garden such as the “Waldwirtschaft”.

Option 6: Daytrip to Swarovski Crystal worlds (approximately 6 - 7 hours)
The ride to Swarovski Crystal worlds in Wattens close to Innsbruck/Tyrol will take you to Germany’s Olympic village of 1936, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, as well as the violin-maker village of Mittenwald. After Seefeld, the Olympic village, you take the pass-road “Zirl” down to Innsbruck.
The Swarovski Crystal worlds were created 1995 by the Austrian artist André Heller. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Swarovski factory and museum, with many exhibition rooms around the themes glass, crystal and objects of art. An interesting and fascinating tour to the worlds of Crystal.
