1492 Restaurant and Harry’s Bar
Below a 50-foot thatched palm ceiling, guests at 1492 Restaurant feast on tropical Costa Rican-inspired  specialties crafted from the freshest local fare in an open-air setting that overlooks a dramatic infinity-edge pool.

A romantic torch-lit dinner for two can be arranged in a private setting within the gardens or on a deck  overlooking the surf below, accompanied by a live serenade.

Borrancho Restaurant
This casual beachside café specializes in fresh ceviche, while its swim-up bar serves up mojitos and other tempting cocktails.

Casa Spa
The signature Casa Spa offers holistic beauty rituals, traditional healing arts, and time-honored local herbalist wisdom. Treatments can be conducted indoors or out, and all begin with a courtesy cup of relaxing tea.

Golf
The resort’s eco-conscious golf course is a par three, nine-hole executive course. Among its “green” features are naturally pest-resistant turfs and recycled-water irrigation. After a challenging game punctuated by exhilarating views, golfers can savor gourmet sandwiches and beverages at the Hoyo en Uno Snack Bar.

Tennis
There are two tennis courts, including one lit for nighttime play.

Exercise Room
Fitness-minded guests can draw inspiration from the spectacular mountain and beach views from hotel Punta Islita’s air-conditioned Exercise Room, equipped with a treadmill, stepper, spinning bike, free weights and multi-exercise station.

Swimming
Punta Islita’s freshwater swimming pool is located just steps from the breaking waves of Islita Beach, where the Borrancho Beach Club offers everything from surf lessons and a children’s playground to poolside lounging and refreshment. Perched high above, at the top of the resort’s tiered layout, is a tranquil infinity-edge pool with shaded lounging areas.



Art and Culture
The open-air Punta Islita Art Museum is a showcase of Hotel Punta Islita’s Responsible Tourism model. Established Costa Rican and international artists have partnered with local counterparts to create bold murals, sculptures and other artworks displayed in an open-air environment. A visit to Casa Museo affords guests the opportunity to meet with local artists in their workshops. Both museums are among the highlights of the resort’s complimentary Foundation Tour, which introduces guests to the positive effect their visit has on local communities.
