Land Activities:
Two 18-hole golf courses (originally designed by Bob Von Hagge and Bruce Devlin and re-designed by Chip Powell), Har-Tru tennis courts, basketball, miniature golf, croquet, jogging paths, bicycle rentals and a fully-equipped fitness center are among the many recreational choices at Ocean Reef Club. The newly revitalized Buccaneer Island is home to two stunning zero-entry swimming pools overlooking the Atlantic, a new whirlpool, brightly colored children's water feature, a saltwater swimming lagoon and sandy beach.

Water Activities: Some of the finest fishing in America -- deep sea sport fishing, reef fishing, tarpon and bone fishing -- is available in the waters surrounding Ocean Reef. In addition, there are sunset and nature cruises, SCUBA, snorkeling and a full array of boat and watersport rentals. The club’s Marina can accommodate 175 yachts.

Cultural Activities: Guests enjoy first-run movies at the Ocean Reef Cultural Center, which also features the Historical Society's museum, showcasing 50 years of Ocean Reef history. Cooking classes with star chefs are scheduled throughout the winter season, along with special events from wine tastings to dinner dances. Ocean Reef has its own Nature Center, offering guided tours and field trips for all ages and interests.

For Children:  Reef Club Kids offers supervised fun daily (Mon. - Sat.) for young guests, plus weekend night camps that keep kids happily entertained while their parents enjoy a relaxing evening on their own. There's a fun-filled playground on Buccaneer Island, which also offers a special water feature especially for kids. Children's bicycles are available for rent.

Salon and Spa Services: The Salon at the Ocean Reef Club Fitness Center offers a wide array of facial and body treatments, plus grooming services, for both women and men.

Shopping: There are several small, charming retail centers on the Club grounds, including The Fishing Village, where guests will find everything from marine gear to fine clothing, jewelry, gifts, gourmet groceries and more.

Sightseeing:  Ocean Reef Club is located within a short driving distance of John Pennekamp State Park, Theater of the Sea, Dolphin Plus, the Alligator Farm and many other attractions.

DINING:

• Carysfort Grille & The Wine Cellar: Here, the finest continental cuisine is presented in a sophisticated setting, along with a selection of more than 250 wines.
• Impeccably fresh local seafood takes center stage at The Islander, the Ocean Room (its grand seafood buffet is a club tradition) and the Raw Bar.
• For casual fare, The Galley’s family-style entrees range from meat and fish to pasta salads to pizzas baked in a mesquite wood-burning oven. The Italian-themed Reef Hut serves pizzas, subs, calzones, grilled sandwiches and salads. Palm Court on Buccaneer Island features a casual open air full service restaurant at the water's edge.
• Four bars and lounges -- Buccaneer Island's casual Beach Bar, the sports-focused Burgee Bar, the Harbor Blues Club and Reef Lounge – offer a variety of settings in which to unwind with good conversation, light refreshment and entertainment.
