Near Avignon, surrounded by a Provençal landscape of vineyards, orchards, lakes and mountains that has inspired artists for centuries, the intimate Domaine des Andéols welcomes its guests with an artistic spirit that is fresh, modern, and as natural in this setting as it is entirely unexpected. This "village" of nine guest houses, each entirely unique, embodies the forward-thinking style of owners Olivier and Patrizia Massart, who have furnished each room with paintings and other objects d’art collected throughout their travels, from Andy Warhol seriographs and Mies van der Rohe lounges to 19th-century antiques. Each house is named to reflect a particular collection of memories: Lovers' House, Cascade House, the Forever House, the House of Afar.
Domaine des Andéols is one of five exceptional European inns in the Alain Ducasse Country Collection. And its stylishly modern restaurant lives up to the Ducasse legacy with an inspired Provençal menu created daily from the freshest offerings of the inn's gardens and local farmer's markets.
Pampering massages and a Turkish bath are among the indulgences available to guests, while two swimming pools – one indoor, the other overlooking the stunning countryside, beckon for a refreshing dip.
